Event description:
High school assignments are very diverse in terms of class size, frequency and types of students. At this workshop we welcome new volunteers and invite experienced Special Religious Education teachers to share lesson ideas and strategies.
Our discussion will address:
- What have you learned about your students and how have you tailored your lessons for them?
- What are the main areas of interest of your high school students that you can apply to Buddhist teachings?
- How do you typically structure your lessons around teachings, meditation and sharing from students?
