The Ox herding teaching is presented as a series of pictures which are an ancient Zen metaphor of spiritual maturation.
In Mahayana Buddhism, Buddha Nature is the innate awakened state that we all possess but most have yet to discover. The Ox herding teachings offer an engaging path to track it.

At the beginning of our journey we get lost again and again on seemingly endless paths, but with determination and persistence we start to recognise traces of the ox.
