We are excited to announce that, over the Easter Long Weekend, Bodhisaddha Monastery will celebrate a rare ceremony to consecrate an official Sīmā Boundary around Bodhisaddha Hall.

The establishment of the Sīmā Boundary will facilitate the ordination of new monks and streamline the conducting of official Sangha transactions, in accordance with the Dhamma-Vinaya laid down by the Buddha.

We are honored to welcome many senior monks from the Ajahn Chah Tradition, as well as other respected monks from Thailand. We anticipate the participation of over 60 monks in this momentous ceremony, including:

– The Most Venerable Somdet Phramaha Thirachan, Abbot of Wat Po Monastery in Bangkok, Thailand;

– Luang Por Liem – abbot of Wat Nong Pah Pong and Head of the Ajahn Chah Lineage;

– Luang Por Sethakit, abbot of Wat Naak Bprok, Thailand, and president of the Union of Thai Sanghas in Oceania;

 Luang Por Anan, Abbot of Wat Marp Jan, Rayong, Thailand, and Spiritual Head of Bodhisaddha Forest Monastery.

Schedule of Events for the Long Weekend:
