The Buddhist Library is honoured to be hosting an inspiring evening with Chamtrul Rinpoche, exploring the theme of pure motivation on Thursday 23 April from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. This event marks Chamtrul Rinpoche’s first-ever visit to Australia, offering a rare opportunity to receive teachings in person.

This session will focus on how cultivating a pure intention can transform both personal practice and everyday actions. Through teachings, reflection, and practical guidance, participants will learn how pure motivation serves as the foundation for spiritual growth while positively impacting others.

Chamtrul Rinpoche Lobsang Gyatso is a world-renowned Tibetan Buddhist Rinpoche and respected teacher of the Nyingma tradition. Recognised as a reincarnation of the second Chamtrul Rinpoche, Rinpoche has devoted his life to studying and sharing the profound teachings of Tibetan Buddhism, including foundational practices, sutra and tantra philosophy, and compassionate guidance for everyday life. With decades of experience teaching at monastic centres and in Buddhist communities around the globe, Rinpoche compassionately guides students of all backgrounds toward greater peace, wisdom and wellbeing. He regularly travels internationally to give teachings at no cost to attendees, empowerments, transmissions and public talks, responding to invitations from students across the United States, Europe, South Africa, Israel, Asia and beyond.
