The Buddha highlighted the reality of suffering and stress in our life during his first teaching and repeatedly returned to this theme. How does the Buddha and his teaching provide refuge and protection in the face of loss, grief, pain, and uncertainty? In this workshop, we look at the classical Three Jewels of Refuge in Buddhism and examine different ways of understanding and working with them to find our own inner refuge and protection.
This workshop features several sessions of guided meditations with explanations and time for Q&A or discussion.
