Mindfulness has become a global phenomenon but many people are unaware that it originally was intended to be practised hand in hand with clear comprehension. Mindfulness or ‘bare awareness’ is like a soothing balm but only the practice of mindfulness and clear comprehension, or ‘insight based mindfulness’, will permanently remove the thorn of suffering.
