Ganden Ngamchoe, literally “Ganden Offering of the Twenty-Fifth Day,” or Lama Tsongkhapa Day, is a celebration of the anniversary of Lama Tsongkhapa’s parinirvana (the day that Buddha passed away and was freed from his earthly body and samsara). Je Tsongkhapa (1357-1419 is the founder of the Gelug tradition.
A Guru Puja will be held to commemorate this day. Please bring offerings of flowers and fruit.
