BONNYRIGG Kathina NOV2021
The Kathina celebration or the Robe-Offering ceremony was initiated by the Buddha Himself in order to promote the comfort of the monks who had observed the traditional rainy season retreat (Buddhist Lent).
To continue this ancient and important tradition, we are collectively arranging a Kathina Robe to be offered to the monks who have observed the entire three-month period of retreat in the Cambodian Buddhist Society of NSW Inc. (Watt Khemarangsaram) in the Bonnyrigg area.
