In Buddhism, symbolic offerings are made to the Triple Gem, giving rise to contemplative gratitude and inspiration. Typical material offerings involve simple objects such as a lit candle or oil lamp, burning incense, flowers, food, fruit, water or drinks.
At Sakya Tharpa Ling, we are delighted to announce that Lama Senghe will be teaching students on how to make offerings to the Buddha and the meaning behind it.
The class will be held every Saturday at 10:30am starting from 8 July 2023 to 22 July 2023. The teachings will be held at the centre in Wallacia.
