There is a saying that goes “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me”. Do you think that is true? In this talk, Faith will be sharing several suttas from the Buddha to discuss right speech in Buddhism and the power of words in fostering healthy relationships and developing harmony within a community.
Faith Teh has been a Dhamma practitioner since 2002, primarily learning from suttas in the Pali Canon and practising Vipassana (insight) meditation. Faith has organised Buddhist camps and workshops in Malaysia and Australia. She currently resides in Melbourne and facilitates Dhamma discussion groups with university students and young adults.
