Event Details

In this continuation of our course on mindfulness, we will explore the meaning of mindfulness and the application of mindfulness and wisdom to the four important domains of human experiences: body, feelings, mind (including thoughts) and phenomena that help or hinder our happiness and peace of mind. With developed mindful awareness, we can address the variety of deeply held misconceptions about ourselves and our relationship with our own body, feelings and mind that are the basis of our not-so-effective reactivities as we struggle to cope with the changes and challenges in our life. Simple meditation practices and integration exercises will be presented in this course that allow us to experiment with how mindfulness works in conjunction with wisdom to benefit ourselves and those around us.

All are welcome; no prerequisite required.

Each session consists of a mixture of explanations, guided meditations and time for discussion or Q&A.
