The world has seen tremendous economic growth in the past few decades, yet mental health continues to decline. Depression and anxiety affect millions of people globally, and the situation is particularly concerning for children and adolescents. To address this crisis, Dr B Alan Wallace established the Center for Contemplative Research, a network of centers that bring together long-term contemplatives and leading scientists to explore the nature of consciousness and sustainable well-being.
At an upcoming public event, beginning with a short guided meditation, CCR Asia Pacific will screen a recent video lecture of Dr B Alan Wallace on contemplative science and its potential to heal the world. The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion with experts in philosophy, psychology, and CCR leadership, including audience Q&A. The event is an opportunity to learn about the CCR project, its positive future impact on mental health, and how you can become involved. Let us fathom the mind together and work towards a brighter future.
