Keynote Speaker: Dr Marjorie Schuman International Speaker: Genevieve David AABCAP Speaker: Dr Eng-Kong Tan Marjorie Schuman is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst whose work focuses on the interface between relational psychoanalysis and Buddhist mindfulness practice. A member of the faculty at the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies, Marjorie has also had four decades of experience practicing Buddhist insight meditation in the Theravadan tradition. She is the author of Mindfulness-Informed Relational Psychotherapy: Inquiring Deeply, and writes the ongoing publication Inquiring Deeply Newsletter. Marjorie teaches and practices psychotherapy in Santa Barbara, CA.
Genevieve David is a clinical social worker and analytic psychotherapist, currently working in private practice, as well, in a low-fee adult treatment clinic at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy, in New York. Former President of AABCAP.
Eng-Kong Tan is a consultant psychiatrist and analytic psychotherapist. He is the Founding President of AABCAP, its first Director of Training and former Chairman of Training of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association of Australia (PPAA).
