Join Victor Von Der Heyde and co-teacher Kate Amy for a retreat focused as an introduction to soul-work for people who already have a meditation background. Soul-work is a set of understandings and practices that are oriented to becoming less bound up in a world of flat materiality and more open to a range of felt experiences which can include: sense of meaning, a calling, a sense of reverence, soulfulness itself, sacredness, unfathomability, senses of love and multi-dimensionality.
A Soul-work retreat like this provides a space to engage with images or figures or gods that could be seen as having an imaginal existence, rather than a physical existence. This work has secular foundations: there’s no set belief system. It provides guidance on what is helpful and what to watch out for in developing sensitivity and discernment.
Victor Von der Heyde has been practicing meditation for thirty-five years, is a counsellor and trained in Gestalt therapy. Kate has over 26 years of psychotherapy experience and meditation practice and brings a deeply integrative approach to retreat creation and care bringing together depth psychology, compassion-focused therapy, mindful embodiment, and intuitive wisdom to support genuine, lasting transformation.
