Nearly 600 individuals across 21 countries came together to support the Pirivena Project—an initiative by SuttaCentral to offer English translations of the Sutta and Vinaya Pitaka to all monastic education centres in Sri Lanka.
After two years of dedicated effort, we are ready to print and distribute 1000 sets of books, each set containing 28 volumes, to every pirivena in the island.
